Dubai’s 2020 World Expo will run from October 2021 through to April 2022. It is expected to attract 25 million visitors. Expo Village site enjoys strategic proximity, along with easy access to Dubai’s fastest growing commercial corridors, which makes Expo Village one of Dubai’s most exciting new developments. The residential community consists of over 3,000 apartments, with approximately 1,500 hotel/serviced apartment keys organized in 11 parcels, each with podium parking and 2,3 or 4 buildings above.
The Expo Village Phase 1, completed in May 2021, will serve as the residential community for the upcoming Expo 2020. With about 2,275 apartment units in
15 buildings with Retail and Community facilities comprising a school, day care center & a clinic.
KEO’s scope included:
• Master plan validation, infrastructure district master planning and infrastructure concept design. Concept architectural and landscape designs for all the 11 parcels. 438 hectares. Built up Area of 836,500 m2.
• Detail Design for parcels 7,8,9,10 and 11. Detail building designs, landscape designs and infrastructure designs. Built up Area of 300,000m2.
• Construction Management, Supervision and Commissioning Services for the awarded packages for parcels 9, 10 & 11 of Expo Village
