Nareel Island

Nareel Island located off the western coast of Abu Dhabi Island, is connected by the Bainuna Street crossing, it is an exclusive gated community and one of the most prestigious addresses in the UAE.

Under KEO’s full-service contract, InSite produced a signature Master Plan and Public Realm Landscape Design for the 140 high-end villa plots, ranging in plot sizes from 1,300 – 4,000m2, and luxurious community facilities, which placed great emphasis on giving the island a sumptuous aesthetic identity, maximizing the islands natural potential, including sea or water views on all sides, while addressing issues of privacy, access, circulation, and connectivity.

Urban design guidelines were created to support the clients primary aim, to maintain high quality design throughout the development.

Through its multi-disciplinary integrated team, KEO was able to be proactive in its designs to support best outcomes in the planning of Nareel Island and through the designs maximizing best investment returns to the developer.

KEO was later appointed as the architect for the community facilities and mosque community center with clubhouse, and a gate house at the entrance.

KEO provided full end-to-end services from Concept Level Master Planning through Design Development until Construction Management and Supervision of the infrastructure works.
