Lead Engineering Services for four of the eleven resort hotels. Total 745 keys.

Shurayrah will be the gateway island to the huge Red Sea Project destination on Saudi Arabia’s west coast. It features 11 hotels, new beaches, and leisure facilities. on Shurayrah together known as “Coral Bloom”. The architect firm Foster + Partners is the creative force behind the designs. When the Red Sea Project is complete in 2030 it will be home to 50 resorts and a new international airport.

KEO was selected to be Lead Engineer providing services for 4 out 11 hotel resorts planned on Shurayrah Island, referred to as Program 8. The services extend from Concept Design Stage through to Tendering Stage.

The four resort hotels in KEO’s scope included:
• “The Cove” by Faena – 150 keys
• “The Trail” by Edition – 240 keys
• “The Dune Camp” by Four Seasons – 175 keys
• “The Retreat” by Miraval – 180 keys

Each of the hotels includes extensive facilities that included indoor and outdoor Food & Beverage outlets, Spas and Fitness Centers, Meeting and Banquet Halls, Kid’s Centers and Back of House areas.
Our services included coordination with the Concept Architect, Operators, and the Architect of Record.

Lead Engineering Services.
The Cove is with approximate GFA of 31,000 sqm and consists of the following program:
• 7-Star resort hotel, to be operated by Faena
• 150 keys comprising 143 hotel suites and 7 villas
• Royal Majlis
• Food & Beverage – 302 indoor seats & 304
outdoor seats
• Ballroom – ballrooms and meeting rooms
• Spa & Fitness Center
• Kid’s Recreational Center
• BOH Administrative offices & Staff facilities
• 3 BR / Pool Villas and 4 BR Royal Pool Villa
