Iconic mixed-use development

Burj Al Shaya & Four Seasons Hotel

Kuwait City, Kuwait

Two towers dramatically gracing the skyline of Kuwait combine modern architecture and avant-garde luxury.

The Burj Al Shaya Complex features two soaring glass towers, the Easter and Western Towers with total built up area of 149,000 m2. The complex includes a 60,000 m2 parking structure with a capacity for 1,667 cars.

The 22-story Eastern Tower contains the chic 284-room Four Seasons Hotel. The hotel includes 5 restaurants, two large ballrooms, an expansive pool-level terrace, and world-class spa and fitness facilities. The chick hotel’s interior design is a dramatic mix of textures, colors, bold and inspiring in its execution. It mixes modern aesthetics with middle eastern touches. The 43-storey Western Tower provides high tech corporate headquarters for the Alshaya group of companies.

The design of the towers is made prominent by the geometry of the aluminum shading fins that wrap the tower façades, creating strong architectural language, while enhancing climatic performance of the occupied spaces.
