Supreme Education Council Headquarters
Doha, Qatar
Ministry of Education and Higher Education Headquarters, formerly known as the Supreme Education Committee HQ, sits on a site of about 86,000 sqm located opposite to the main entrance of Qatar University
The site is a sprawling campus with a double- height internal street linking five interlinked buildings for various institutions around a central courtyard with an overall built-up area of 110,000 sqm. The following is the program for the headquarter campus:
* Education Institute Building
* Secretary Generals Building
* Higher Education Institute Building
* Shared Services Building
* Evaluation Institute Building
* Central Water Feature
* Wall of Knowledge – 2 storied, enclosed, pedestrian passageway connecting all five buildings.
* Car Parking – Lower ground and ground level
KEO was commissioned to provide full Construction Management and Supervision Services for all related site works, all buildings, and fit outs. During construction, it achieved award for the number of days without an incidence. Health and Safety always number on any KEO project.
